Mixed Media Artist.
Prior to starting my degree, I had previously done a variety of art classes and workshops over the past 30 years. It has been a slow process of trial and error whilst raising three children.
These classes included, oil painting, watercolour, drawing, folk art, crochet/knitting, organic dyeing, life drawing, and sewing. Workshops at the Open Drawer - Art, Textiles & Learning Centre (Organic Dyeing 2012 and Visual Language and Design 2014). I’ve also produced a small amount of commission work, sold hand-dyed silk clothing and paintings through different avenues.
